As for us here at Hero Tech Support, we will continue to help as much as we can.

Firstly, we offer remote support! So any problems you have with the software on your computer we can take a look at and no-one has to leave the house.

FREE Pick Up and Collection

Secondly we still offer free pick up and collection for any repairs you may need. All devices will be disinfected before and after the repair. We still recommend doing this yourself when you get your device back to stay on the safe side!

Once you’ve let us know you need a repair we’ll give you a call to run through our procedure thoroughly to ensure we can all adhere and stay safe.

Great service from the Tech Team, highly recommended. Just had my 4 year old iMac repaired. It had become painfully slow to use and needed to have the hard drive replaced to a ssd drive. The Tech team collected and returned the foxed iMac within a few days and its now faster than when it was new.

Stew and the team are fantastic. I had grief with my ageing Mac earlier this year - it was basically on its last legs - and they have made it like new. Because the hard drive was pretty much fried, there was a possibility of losing lots of stuff, and they helped me find all the best ways of hanging on to it. And then I've had two small problems since, and they've fixed them with me over the phone for no extra charge in a very smart, efficient and friendly way. I've already recommended them to other Mac users, and would have no hesitation in doing so again. Just great.

My gaming PC was completely dead. I had no idea what was wrong with it so contacted Stew and the team at Hero Tech Support.I predominantly dealt with Stew and Greg who were both very friendly and kept me updated every step of the way. We had some delays with a manufacturer who were being a bit difficult but this was expedited by the team here for which I am grateful for.I ended up with a super smooth running PC that has exceeded my expectations. I have a 2009 iMac that stopped working. Stuart and Greg were amazing. Picked up the sick Mac, triaged, gave me a cost of putting back as it was or have it upgraded. I chose the upgrade which was less than half the cost of a new Mac! Delivered back just over a week later and it's back to normal with the latest system.I can't thank and recommend Hero Tech enough. Amazing service from these guys. Picked up my laptop and diagnosed it quickly. Unfortunately the issue was fairly terminal (so had a high cost of repair), so I did not go ahead with it. The team made no fuss at all and dropped the laptop back to me for free very quickly with no questions asked - I did not feel pressured at any point.Use these guys - don't go to Apple - very trustworthy and a brilliant service.

My Mac was very slow and I was getting frustrated as it took several minutes to log in and I was constantly getting the spinning rainbow wheel. I used Clean My Mac but it made little difference. A friend suggested that an upgrade to a SSD would make a big difference. After watching how to install a SSD on Youtube I realised that I would be foolish to try and tackle this myself. Google led me straight to Hero Tech Support. They answered all my questions quickly and picked up the Mac. couple of days later. It was back a week later and now operates at warp speed!! They provide a professional friendly service and I would highly recommend them.

Super pleased with Hero Tech Support. The Apple shop in Southampton performed a triage on an iMac, but it's too old to be repaired by Apple, I asked the Apple Genius for a recommended third-party Apple repairer and she suggested Hero Tech Support. 10 minutes later I'd delivered the iMac to be repaired and one new graphics board later, all is well. Friendly staff and reassuring approach I can't recommend Hero Tech enough. And I've had some bad experiences with third-party repairers in the past - now at last, a business I can trust. Thanks.

The ports on a MacBook Pro I use at work had stopped working down one side. It was a 2019 model and I knew that Apple’s repair options would be limited and expensive since it was out of warranty. I took it to Hero and they opened up my Mac, cleaned the ports, and reseated them. Like magic, everything was working again. Very efficient! I dropped my MacBook off on Monday and had it back a couple of days later, fully working. Amazing job. I will definitely be coming back with any more poorly Macs in the future!

I took my iMac in to have its RAM updated and my partner's elderly MacBook Air for a new battery. Stew and his team were wonderful! They did the work on time, they did it very well and they have a great warranty should any problems arise. The thing that I liked the best was that they gave me a good sense of confidence, which is important when considering who is going to do surgery on your Mac!

Fantastic , think no further go to stew and fix your problem.I had problem with battery of Macbook pro 2015 model. Spent money with another prestigious company in portsmouth but the battery lasted 2 weeks. However then i saw herosupport and all 5 star reviews , I had an email conversation with stew and in person as well explaining the issue, he guaranteed to fix it and he did. Could not recommend Hero Tech Support enough! The team at Hero Tech Support were just what they say they are - heroes. I work from home and needed a repair for my Macbook but needed to minimise the time it was away during working hours. They were very quick to respond to my initial query and provided an accurate quote for the work up front. Most importantly, they were able to pick it up, complete the repair and return to it to me during the off period between Christmas and New Year's. This is an amazing outfit. Stu and his team mean what they say what they mean. My Mac was confined to the mortuary before I came across the Heroes and yes that’s what they are. I contacted them and within 24 hours I had a progress report and my options. And they resuscitated my MacBook Pro to an all singing and dancing Mac. Stewart and his team have surpassed all my expectations. They have repaired both my Power Mac and my Macbook Pro. My wife's MacBook started going slowly and with those irritating pop up messages appearing (and the fact that I can do MS but not Apple) meant we needed some assistance.These two guys were brilliant. All you have to do is open the door twice! Oh and pay up. My iMac, circa 2013, had almost ground to a halt and refused to connect to Wi-Fi after an overnight update. Greg collected it, suggested a Solid State disk would transform it. I agreed the price and a few days later back it came. It immediately connected to Wi-Fi. I was really amazed to witness the increase in speed. Absolutely sensational. No need to buy a new computer. Spoke to the guys on Email, Stu advised they could pick up my broken gaming PC the next day. They picked it up on time when stated and i got a call that very same day to say they had fixed the PC adn got it working. Just had our Apple IMAC repair by these guys. what was amazing is that there is none of this upfront inspection costs before we look at it or being told to "bring it to us nonsense either" as they delver and collect!. What a great service, cannot recommend this company enough! Emailed as my Macbook Pro laptop was pretty much dead and not turning on. They collected the laptop from my house and diagnosed the problem within a day. Managed to fix the problem and got it working and delivered it back a few days later for such a reasonable price. I live too far from Hero Tech Support to be able to drop off my Mac for repair but even knowing this Stewart was willing to chat through my problem and made recommendations about how to fix it (saving me from replacing the wrong parts), even going so far as to send links where I could buy the correct parts. I now have a working 10 year old Mac instead of a large paperweight.A superb service that deserves recognition.

I really cannot thank Hero enough for the work they have done on my 2011 iMac. They have not only repaired but also breathed new life into a much-loved 'vintage' machine. I have to say, I was recommended to Stew through my Father in Law. Stew collected my MacBook Pro fixed and delivered on time and fully exceeded my expectations of the fix. I am sure he replaced the battery as well. its lasted for 6 hours already! He replaced the hard drive and increased the RAM as well as taking care of the screen problem. Without any exaggeration whatsoever, it is like a brand new machine again. Its an old 2012 model and the top was getting a bit loose too; it is all nice and tight again. I would not hesitate in recommending for the whole turnkey solution from collection to delivery and cost. Amazing service and price, and a great guy.

Very rarely does anything in life exceed my expectations. Stewart did just that. 👍🏼 I asked him to speed up my mac and restore it to new as it was slow and clogged up with files. He did this quickly (faster than expected) and returned my mac to my home (over an hour away) cleaned and working perfectly. He did this for a very reasonable pre agreed price. Stew really helped us out after my son spilt some water on his Apple Mac and it stopped working. Stew had picked it up from our home and returned it fixed in @ 24 hours!!!We were so grateful as it had essential GCSE work on it that needed handing in and Apple were going to take two weeks just to get it collected from us, let alone fix it!Highly recommended and would call Stew first in the future.

Stewart has provided me with an excellent service. I had a problem with my Imac and apple spend hours trying to fix it. In the end I called Hero Tech Support and Stewart came to my premises. He diagnosed the problem and fixed it, ans at the same time cleaned up the bunch of knitting that was my data storage on the hard drive. He continued to offer support and again solved problems caused by Apple automatically updating my operating system to Big Sur. Again Apple could not fic this, Steward managed it in un hour, coming onsite to do the work. I cannot recomend him highly enough. Stew is just brilliant. He was great at helping me upgrade an existing gaming tower, taking the time to review options and was really helpful at finding cost effective alternatives. I had issue with my Macbook Pro after I upgraded to Catalina OS. My computer was extremely slow to the point I wanted to throw the computer! I only needed my laptop for browsing and loading my iphone photos but it took at least an hour to load photos and when browsing internet it just hang. Read the reviews about Hero Tech and decided to give it a go and I have no regrets. Stew looked at the computer and advised nothing wrong with it and all it needed was SSD drive which made the computer a lot faster now. The computer should last for another few years. Stew was professional and polite and solved the issue quickly. He collected the laptop and dropped it off in a week. The cost was reasonable as well (including the price for the hard drive) - it saved me from paying out £2,000 for another laptop :) Highly recommend the company.

I managed to 'brick' my old Mac Mini whilst trying to update it to a newer OS. Stewart from Hero picked it up from me at home on a Friday, worked over the weekend and brought it back to me on Monday. Amazing, phoned on Saturday because my macbook pro screen broke, Stew found one within my price range and ordered it on the spot. Screen arrived by wednesday, he came and picked my mac up himself and had it back to me in perfect condition by Thursday lunchtime. Great service deserves a great review. Apple unable to fix my 2015 MacBook Air laptop due to age - battery no longer charging and only worked if plugged in to mains. Stew from Hero Tech Support (ex Apple tech) jumped in and fixed it for me. Answered all my questions ... is it worth it etc.. and clearly understood what the problem was. He arrived at my door exactly as promised to collect broken laptop, took it away and fixed it and delivered it back, all cleaned up, working, battery better than new and all with great big friendly smile. Highly recommended.

The Apple Shop had been surprisingly helpful given that my Macbook Pro dates from 2010, but were ultimately unable to bring it back to life. Stew replaced the logic board and upgraded the disk to SSD and replaced the battery. It worked like new except for apparently slow internet speeds. Stew came to my house at no extra charge and was able to show that the problem lay with my Hub, now replaced and it is now 100%. Excellent service which I wholeheartedly recommend.

Asked Stew to build me a PC if I provided all the parts, not only did he build it much quicker than I was expecting, he also ordered a cable that I didn't realise I would need, picked up all the parts from my house at a time that was convenient to me and dropped it back off! I hadn't heard of a service for electronic repairs that comes to your door and deliver back again but Stew provides that very service. My PS4 was, I thought, would never be so quiet or work again after I couldn't put it back together. Stew was able to do that for me and he provides the cheapest service too. Go to him before anybody else!

My late 2009 MacBookPro display stopped working & kept falling asleep... turned out a tiny magnet had lodged itself into my SD card slot and was interfering with the internal sleep/wake magnet! MacBook Pro 2011 would not boot up. Apple could not fix the problem. Hero Tech diagnosed the issue and fitted new motherboard, ram and ssd plus transferred all data from the old drive. Very prompt, good service and kept me informed of progress plus explaining options. Very helpful, would happily recommend.

Great service from Hero Tech., Had a high spec 2012 Macbook Pro that developed a fault and need a new logic board, but Apple no longer supported the device. Contacted Stew and he quickly confirmed the fault and found a replacement board, not for the 2012 but the compatible and more reliable 2013 and had us up and running in 1 week. More than happy and would definiteky use again when the need arises. Easier than getting an appointment at the Genius Bar

Almost the same as Trebor (surely fat finger Trevor!) Evans except my problem was with my 27” iMac failed hard drive. In the small print Apple will not repair any model that is more than 5yrs out of production which I was only advised about having struggled to get the machine to an Apple store! Like Trebor I was given Stew’s number whom I phoned from outside the store and in the same day he sourced and quoted for an exact replacement and for a SSD upgrade if I wished. The exact replacement would have been less than Apple would have charged if they were able to do it but I chose the upgrade option which has dramatically increased the speed of my machine for very little cost. This was achieved all on the same day Stew collected my iMac fitted the new ssd and returned it that evening and guided me through how to download the backup that I had made. Would highly recommend to everybody including ‘Seniors’ like myself!

I heard of Stewart from a colleague at the Apple Store in Southampton. I had broken the screen on myApple desk top computer and tried to source one through the internet without success,; so I got in touch with Stewart who said he would find a screen and come out to Lymington from Southampton to fix it at a very reasonable price. This he did and at the same time upgraded the software which resulted in some minor problems. I got in touch with him and he said that he would come out and sort it at no charge. The computer is now working satisfactorily.Stewart is obviously very knowledgable about Apples having worked in the store for about 8 years. His charges are very reasonable and on top of all that he is a very nice guy. I would highly recommend him to any future clients.David Houlton
